The tile system uses the illustrated lock connectors during installation to position adjoining modules. Adhesive remains a project-level choice.

Installation Direction

Prepare the subfloor before choosing adhesive

Installation requirements depend on the substrate, perimeter, traffic and selected format. The following guidance is for planning and quotation; the project installer should confirm the final method on site.

1. Check the base

The subfloor should be clean, level, dry, sound and free from loose debris, oil, cracks and hollow areas.

2. Bond rubber rolls

Rubber sheets normally require a compatible two-component polyurethane adhesive. Typical coverage is approximately 1 kg per 4 m² for commonly used products, while actual use varies with the adhesive, trowel and subfloor.

3. Roll and press the sheet

Align the rolls to the layout, press the surface with a suitable roller and pay close attention to seams and trapped air.

4. Install tiles with locks

Use the supplied lock connectors between rubber tiles. Adhesive can be added when required by the room perimeter, subfloor condition, traffic or project preference.

Selected coloured rubber material used in the flooring has passed specified EU RoHS restricted-substance limits in SGS testing. Applicable documents are checked against the selected product and supplied on request rather than offered as a general public download.

What should I send for an accurate rubber flooring quote?

Send the floor dimensions, intended training area, preferred roll or tile format, thickness direction, color, installation base, order quantity and delivery city or port. Photos or a floor plan help UMAX recommend the format more accurately.
