Composite Construction
1 mm EPDM surface over a rubber base
The product is not described as a single-layer tile. The visible surface and supporting base have distinct roles within the composite construction.
Color sampling
Review 12 standard solid or speckled directions and confirm the approved surface sample before production.

Tile units are arranged for production handling and visual review before pallet packing.

The locks are required for the UMAX tile system shown here. Adhesive remains a separate decision for the customer and project installer.
1. Prepare the base
Confirm that the subfloor is clean, level, dry, sound and free from loose material or oil.
2. Set the layout
Plan the starting line, perimeter cuts and joint direction before positioning full tiles.
3. Install every lock
Use the supplied lock connectors between adjoining tile units. The connectors are required even when the project is installed without glue.
4. Decide on adhesive separately
Adhesive can be omitted or added according to the room perimeter, base condition, traffic, installer judgement and customer preference.

Packing note: the count follows tile size, thickness and the final pallet height, normally around 1-1.2 m. The packing list and actual pallet configuration control the shipment.

What to send for an accurate tile quotation
Floor size and installation conditions are more useful than asking for thickness alone.
Send these details: floor dimensions, total area, training use, 50 × 50 cm or 100 × 100 cm preference, requested thickness, solid or speckled color, subfloor, whether adhesive is planned, quantity, destination and any floor plan or room photos. UMAX will confirm tile count, lock quantity, sampling and pallet arrangement.

What sizes and thicknesses are available?
Tiles are available in 500 × 500 mm and 1000 × 1000 mm sizes with total thickness from 15 mm to 50 mm.
What is the composite tile structure?
The confirmed structure uses a 1 mm EPDM surface layer over a thicker rubber base.
Are the lock connectors optional?
No. The supplied lock connectors are required for this tile system. Adhesive is the optional part and is decided separately for the project.
Can the tiles be installed without adhesive?
Yes, when the project conditions allow. The installer should decide after reviewing the subfloor, perimeter, traffic and room use, while still installing all required locks.
Are solid and speckled tile colors both available?
Yes. Both solid-color and EPDM-speckled surface directions are available, with 12 standard color directions currently offered.
What is the MOQ and normal lead time?
Normal MOQ is 1 m². Samples are normally ready in 1 day and within 3 days when preparation is required. Typical production is about 7 days.
What product documents can be supplied?
Selected colored rubber material used in the flooring has passed specified EU RoHS restricted-substance limits in SGS testing. Applicable documents are matched to the selected supply and provided on request, not presented as a general fire, VOC or odor certification.
